Mosaic with Germany with the borders of 1937, with the Iron Curtain and the Oder-Neisse border indicated, just as Berlin with the Brandenburg Gate.

Since the momument was rather controversial, especilly after the German unification in 1990, the town council decided in 1990 to add an extra text. Since 2013 the memorial is placed in a historical context in the garden of the museum Historicum 20.
