Description

Stone sculpture of a beaver on a pile of wood. On the front in gold letters 'Jer. 29,7' (Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper).

The beaver is shown on the coat of arms of Bebra, the town's name being derived from Biberaho ("Village on the Beaver River").

Sculptor

André Balduf (Bebra c. 1985), German stonemason from Bebra.
