Description

Bronze sculpture of two beavers on a simple socle. Originally, the beavers stood at the edge of a fountain basin, and was called Biberbrunnen (beaver fountain), as can be seen on a postcard sent in 1959.

The beaver is shown on the coat of arms of Bebra, the town's name being derived from Biberaho ("Village on the Beaver River").
