The Play-and-Stay Place at the Kornmarkt was constructed in 2009. It consist of four low chairs with high backrests, three chairs behind desks with bronze books on them, and two sandstone blocks with bronze books (one of these was added in 2012). The five bronze books are open and show an excerpt from the text of children's books, those on the desks on the left page in the original language and on the right page in German translation; the two books on the stone blocks are originally in German and have on the right page the text in braille.

Die Sterntaler, fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm in Kinder- und Hausmärchen(added in 2012 because of the placing of the light art Sterntaler.) and was made by Bohrman-Roth. |
The texts were selected by a working group of the Marburg Children and Youth Parliament (KiJuPA). The books were made by Biopresent, who selected the suitable fonts, scanned and integrated the drawn initials. The chairs and desks were made by art smith Rüdiger Horn in Gisselberg
