Bronze statue of Schiller wearing a floor-length cape. In his hands he holds a laurel wreath and the two writers symbols pen and book.

Annotation

A model was made in 1859 and stood on the Römerberg. In 1862 is was cast in bronze and inaugurated in 1864 on Schillerplatz. Since 1955 in the Taunusanlage.
