Description

Wooden sculpture of Moses - 4.5 m high - with several attributes, as grapes, a staff with a snake, the Torah, and a hanukkah, and the 'stone' tables with the text זכרה and gedenke respectively.

Annotation

The sculpture stands in front of the former Jewish ritual bath commemorates the mikvah of the once thriving Jewish community in Rotenburg an der Fulda and also represents Jewish religion and tradition with artistic means.
