Rotenburg an der Fulda / Rotenburg, An, Der und Fulda   Rotenburg an der Fulda / Rotenburg, An, Der und Fulda

Description

Sculpture from sand stones of the old Fulda Bridge. The artist has packed in his sculpture an original picture puzzle based on the four words of the full name of the town:
  1. Rotenburg: A Konne (a fantsary figure of Rotenburg) with Fulda bridge, collegiate and a bottle with water from his own spring in the arm.
  2. An: a man with his hands placed close to Fulda (German: "An Fulda").
  3. Der: a man pointing to Fulda as if wanting to say: "…which I am totally falling" (German: "…der bin ich total verfallen")
  4. Fulda: a young woman with long hair stands on a stone pedestal.
