Annotation

Adolf Berend was a phenomenon in the streets of Fulda on roads. From 1890 to 1910 he lived in Fulda and cleaned the public space with a pike and a slung bag of discarded debris. This was at that time likely predominantly paper scraps, so that he became known under the name "Papiermänchen" (little paper man).
