Above the main entrance of the town hall, built in 1899 after designs of the architec Carl Engelhorn from Konstanz, are three relief busts, showing:
- Kaiser Wilhelm I. (Berlin 1797 - Berlin 1888),
King of Prussia, 1861 - 1888, and the first German Emperor, 1871 - 1888
- Großherzog Friedrich I. von Baden (Karlsruhe 1826 - Mainau 1907), Grand Duke of Baden, 1856-1907 (Wikipedia).
He was married with Luise, the daughter of Emperor Wilhelm I.
- Kaiser Wilhelm II (Berlin 1859 - Doorn 1941), German Emperor, 1888-1918 (Wikipedia).
- Unknown artist. Do you know who the sculptor is? please let us know.
