Description

Red Tape:
Horse ('Red Tape' is in German 'Amtsschimmel' which translates more or less as 'offical gray horse') with under his raised hoof, an old man crouching. To the right the bureaucrat on a mountain of files.

Allegories to Heilbronn as a wine and Neckar town:
The male figure (right) depicts Bacchus with staff and wine jug. Besides him a bacchante, with staff and vine leaves. To the left a 'vinous' mermaid, probably as an allegory on the Neckar. At the corner hangs a bronze grape and a large vine leaf.
