At the portal of the church is a statue of St. Mary Immaculate Conception above the central pillar. The each side of the door two statues with four Old Testament prophets, who announced the Messiah. Church. They all have a scroll with their statement announcing a new salvation-king (Messiah) descending from David.
- Prophet Micah / Prophet Micha: Et tu Bethlehem Ephrata etc. Mica.
Micah 5,2: But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
- King David / König David: Dixit Dominus Domino meo Ps. 109,1
Ps. 110, 1: The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
- Prophet Isaiah / Prophet Jesaja: Ecce virgo concipiet etc. Isai 7,14
Isaiah 7,14: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Prophet Zechariah / Prophet Sacharja: Exsulta satis filia Sion etc. Zachar.
Zechariah 9,9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

The church was built by Joseph von Egle, 1871-1879, and after been damaged in 1944 rebuilt 1946-50.
