Description

Sculpture of a young woman trying to mount on a centaur's broad back, who has crouched down helpfully and reaches back with his left hand to help her climb up.

A slightly different version of this sculpture is in the Stadtpark in Dessau.

Sculptures of the Kolonnadenhof

The colonnade courtyard "Kolonnadenhof" connects the building ensemble of the Old National Gallery, the New Museum and the Pergamon Museum on the Museum Island. It is enclosed on three sides by columns and pillars and has numerous bronze sculptures exhibited as an open air museum.
