Description

In the entrance courtyard of the Staatsbibliothek is the ensemble "Questions of a reading worker" which consists of two independent free sculptures that are strongly related in terms of content.
On the west side is a high-rectangular stele, which is decorated with the text of Bertolt Brecht's poem Fragen eines lesenden Arbeiters and a reliefs showing several scenes illustrating this poem.
On the east side is the "Reading Worker".
