The sculpture of the muse Clio belonged to the equestrian statue of King Friedrich Wilhelm III of 1876, which was badly damaged in 1945. Some pedestal figures were recovered and c. 1987 placed on the Nikolaikirchhof at St. Nikolaikirche (see also Allegorie der Wissenschaft.
Equestrian Statue of Frederick William III of Prussia, located in Berlin Lustgarten. Destroyed after damages of World War II. The figure of Clio is seen on the back (Architekturmuseum TU Berlin / Wikimedia commons).
