Knight Roland Fountain
Roland, a Frankish military leader under Charlemagne, became a symbol of the independence of the growing cities from the local nobility. He is depicted as a knight with a drawn sword.

Fountain with a statue of Roland in armour, accompanied by an armed boy with a head in his hand (David with the head of Goliath?).
The statue is a 1985 copy by the sculptor Jiří Živný. The original statues are in the museum.
