Les Relayeuses / Relay Runners
The work was designed for the Olympic Museum, opened in June 1993, at the occasion of the 100th session of the IOC. It was unveiled in 1988 in Seoul by Prince Albert of Monaco (source) Gift of the Monegasque Olympic committee in memory of Prince Pierre de Monaco, member of the IOC (1950-1964). The sculpture is depicted on the Monegasque stamp for the Olympic Games of 1992.
