Description

Bronze statue of David with the sling in his hand and his left foot on Goliath's head. The difference with Geiser's other statue of David is, that this David wears trousers.

kulturspende, entstanden aus freundeidgenössischer
hilfe nach der irrtümlichen bombardierung
schaffhausens am 1. april 1944, erworben.
schöpfer der plastik, die in zeitgemässer darstellung
das freiheitssymbol des jungen david verkörpert,
ist karl geiser. dem andenken an die bombardierung,
an die solidarität des schweizervolkes und dem
