Description

Stone statue of a soldier and an angel, forming one part with the pedestal. On the front is a portrait medaillon of king Albert I. On the back side is the coat of arms of the town of Huy in a laurel wreath.

Annotation

Originally, it was called 'Monument de la Victoire' and was a World War I monument, with dates 1914-1918. The dates 1940-1945 and the portrait medaillon were added later.
