On the jambs are six saints' statues.

On the pillars flanking the portal are two statues representing the annunciation.
|

The right side portal is dedicated to St. Francis, the founder of the Minorites. It is dived in three fields.
The central field shows the crucified Seraphic Christ.
The left field shows the stigmatization of St. Francis on Mount La Verna, as described by Thomas of Celano.
The right field shows St. Antony of Padua, St. Clara of Assisi and St. Elizabeth of Thuringia as representatives of the three branches of the Franciscan Order.
