Description

Bronze equestrian statue of Prince Eugene on a prancing horse, standing over Turkish insignia. The statue stands on a richly decorated bronze base. The whole on a stone pedestal with bronze ornaments.

Annotation

Unveiled 18 October 1865 and the 202nd anniversary of the Prince's birth. The statue is sculpted by Fernkorn, the design of the socle is by Van der Nüll.
