Description

Bronze statue. On the front face of the socle a relief "post nvbila phoebvs" (3) and on the back a relief of a coat of arms with text (1). On the sides reliefs of a column (2) and a branch (4) respectively.

Annotation

The sockle is designed by Max Fabiani (1865-1962). The statue was erected on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of book printing in Vienna.
