Description

Marble bust on a marble column with a relief of Apollo with his bow and drawing an arrow from the quiver, symbol of the Enlightenment. At the foot of the monument Cautes (a little angel) with a burning torch, the gnostic symbol of vitality 'Lebenskraft' and a broken column.
The monument is the counterpart of the Lenau monument on Schillderplatz. Grün published Lenau's Sämtliche Werke in 1855.
