Bronze statue of Duke Wilhelm of Württemberg in military uniform with his hand on his sabre. The pedestal is flanked by two reliefs of battlefields: MAGENTA and ÖVERSEE, depicting two of his military actions:
- Battle of Magenta (1859 during the Second Italian War of Independence): as the standard bearer fell down dead, Duke Wilhelm has the standard handed over to him and holding it high, he led his troops into battle.
- Battle of Översee (1864, during the campaign in Denmark): Duke Wilhem lost in the fray his horse, and was hit by a bullet soon after; yet he was gave the order to storm, laboriously maintained by his adjutant.
