Description

The front façade of the baroque Dreifaltigkeitskirche (Trinity Church) shows several statues:

Trinity; in the center niche a sculpture group of the God the Father with orb and scepter and the Son with a cross, the Holy Ghost is depicted in relief above the niche. On the sides are two angels.

above the door: St. Michael the Archangel, the field commander of the Army of God. He is often depicted slaying Satan represented as a dragon, and with a shield with text quis ut deus (Who is like God?, a literal translation of the name Michael). (Wikipedia).
niche left: St. Mary Immaculate Conception. Saint Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ (Wikipedia).
niche right: St. Joseph the husband of the Virgin Mary and the earthly father of Jesus Christ (in distinction to God, his "heavenly father") (Wikipedia).
