On the richly decorated front façade of the Town Hall is a baroque high relief of Lady Justice, blindfolded and holding sword and scales. Below this is a 15th century metal cast plate with four saints, the imperial coat of arms, the Carinthian coat of arms, the housemark of the founder families Gleismüller and Kaltenhauser as well as the saying 'Aeins mans red ein halbe red. Man sol sy verloren bed. Anno M.CCCC.LXVIII' (from the Sachsenspiegel).
The plate is probably made in Nuremberg, because the patron saint of that town, St. Sebald, is depicted, while this is saint is never seen in Carinthia, and the quote of the Sachsenspiegel is identical with that on the Nuremberg town hall.
