Quincentennial monument constructed by Walter J. Barret Council 1954 (Knights of Columbus), consisting of a circle of stones and flowers surrounding a granite boulder bearing a bronze plaque.
The plaque reads
"Presented to the people of Boonton by Walter J. Barret Council 1954 Knights of Columbus in commemoration of the Quincentenary anniversary of Columbus' voyage to America".
Two years of work went into this Quincentennial monument.
