Description
Granite bas relief of a youthful Columbus, garbed in 15th century robe, tunic, and socks. His right hand rests across his chest; his left hand rests on a globe.
Annotation
Dedicated 12 October 1980. Five societies spent 20 years seeking an acceptable site for the monument.
I have a photocopy of the reproduction of the journal article. The photo in that is not good enough to reproduce.
