Statue at the Escuela de Suboficiales.
I visited San Fernando on 11 March 2002 and even found the Escuela de Suboficiales. But, that is a military school and visitors are not allowed on its grounds. The officer of the guard went somewhere inside to a higher ranking person to ask permission for me, but no success. The statue was there, he said, but not visible from the public road.
