Annotation

Just as its inspirador navigator, the statue 'was born' in Genoa. It was constructed by the company Tomagnini de Pietrasanta, in the province of Carrara. The Italian colony in Barranquilla, with Francisco Fiorillo at the top, sent it to construct in 1892 to flatter it to it to the city.
After the permission was granted, everything was prepared so that the statue was in Barranquilla the 20 of 1910 July and in an act witnessed by notary public she was discovered in his seat like part of the program of commemoration to the independence of Colombia. But the statue did not arrive on time.
