Bronze sculpture of workers cycling to their work.
BG Broström 1989
This great piece of art is not only a masterpiece of artistic expression, the pun in its title adds still another dimension. The letter E in ASEA stands for "electric", meaning the production of power. Being the biggest employer in the city, there was naturally a constant stream of bicycles, when the shift started, which the sculpture shows. And as the words for power and stream are the same in Swedish, you can wonder how much power there would have been without the power coming from the workers.
