Description

Basalt stone fountain with an Azorean wood pigeon (Columba Palumbus Azorica) carried by a female Indian.
The fountain was originally in the cloister of the former Convent of Grace, in Angra do Heroísmo, was later transferred to the Quinta da Pata in Posto Santo, owned by Joaquim de Almeida. In the 1940s it was transferred to the present location,
