Description

The monument has a granite base, which measures 17 meters, and a height of 15 meters. On its long sides there are two large bronze statues depicting a soldier and winged victory. The upper part is decorated with bronze bas-reliefs.

Le tre Parche / The three Moirai (Fates)
  • Nona (Clotho), who spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle;
  • Decima (Lachesis), who measured the thread of life with her rod;
  • Morta (Atropos), who cut the thread of life and chose the manner of a person's death.
