Cenotaph surmounted by a marble statue of a soldier in mourning pose with hands clasped above reversed rifle.
At the base of the pedestal the years 1914-1918 and names of the battle fields:
belgium france italy
egypt africa
palestine salonica gallipoli
mesopotamia the high seas
On front face of the cenotaph a plaque: THE GREAT WAR killed.
