Annotation

Above the door of the adjoining priory ('prieuré') is a relief in scalloped rococo style, containing three medallions showing in relief Saint Martin and Saint Quirin (the patron saints of Marmoutier and Saint-Quirin) and a cross and a palm of martyrdom, below these the date 1711.
