Description

Bronze statue of Millet sitting on a rock.

The original statue of 1898 was melted during the German occupation, only the head was saved (see here). The present statue is a replica made after photos and a model, made by Derbré, and was inaugurated 25 September 1998, exact 100 years after the inauguration of the first statue.
