Description

Corten steel monument in two parts. The vertical peice, 'Forestas', represents a cavity, a symbol of the troglodyte dwellings in Artenara, and the cylinders, as pine trunks, express the concept of wooded forest. The horizontal piece, 'Prótego', represents the hanging landscape of Artenara. The concept of protection comes from the open chests as windows, just like viewpoints of the landscape (copied from the information sign).
