Description

Gold coloured, sandstone statue of Saint George slaying the dragon, standing on the central column of an octagonal fountain. At the base of the column four small lindworms (dragons) spout water - these lindworms date from 1938.

Sculptor

Hans Leonhard, 16th century stonemason of Eisenach.
