Description

Fountain with a sculptor of two men with a wine press with a goat in it.

The fountain illustrates a Cochem 'Stückelchenn', a short funny stories, of the vinified goat, as is displayed in the rhyme on the four sides of the fountain.

On the edge of the square basin:

weisse trauben frass der bock
in der kelter sollt er's büssen
roter saft floss in den trog
seine unschuld war erwiesen

White grapes ate the goat
In the wine he should suffer
Red juice flowed into the trough
His innocence was proved
